Homemade doTERRA Microdermabrasion Scrub
This homemade microdermabrasion scrub is infused with dōTERRA essential oils, is super easy and quick to make, and has immediate and lasting benefits! You can whip this up at home or on your lunch break at work!
½ cup soft Organic Coconut Oil
¼ cup Organic Baking Soda
1 drop Yarrow|POM (tightens and brightens)
1 drop Lavender (soothes and calms)
1 drop Melaleuca (cleanses and rejuvenates)
1 drop Frankincense (tones and lifts)
Be sure that your coconut oil is soft but not melted.
Combine the coconut oil and baking soda. Stir well. Add your essential oils. Stir well again. Spoon into an air-tight jar with a lid so you can use the remaining scrub later on.
After cleansing with your favorite dōTERRA skincare product, do not pat dry.
Scoop about a tablespoon of the scrub and gently scrub your face in an upward, circular motion. You want to remove the top layer of skin, but be careful not to be too abrasive.
Remove with soft wash cloth and warm water, in the same upward, circular motion. Pat skin dry.
Say goodbye to acne and scarring, age spots, dull skin, fine lines, hyperpigmentation, and wrinkles!
NOTE: Your skin will be red immediately after, that is because you just exfoliated your skin and removed dead skin cells!
Want to know the benefits of this Homemade Microdermabrasion Scrub?
This exfoliating scrub can improve blood and lymphatic circulation deep within your skin, which can improve the internal health of the skin. The enhanced blood flow means that more oxygen, essential oils, and other nutrients are supplied to the cells. This enhances the skin and improves elasticity!
Enhances Product Efficacy
This exfoliating scrub enhances the absorption of skincare products and essential oils by up to 50%! This means that if you are treating your skin for acne, the skin will be more receptive to the product, so it can have better results than it normally would. HOLLAAAA!
Pore Size And Health
This exfoliating scrub helps unclog and reduce the size of your pores! Although we are born with a certain pore size, there are factors that can enlarge them (hygiene, inflammation of the skin, or as a result of just being clogged).
